Today I realized that I watch a lot of tv. I fall asleep to it at night, wake up to it in the morning. When I’m cooking, I often find myself watching tv. Its usually on ESPN so I don’t necessarily sit on the couch and stare but it’s still on. I don’t spend every night in front of the tv but when I get home, one of the first things I do is find the remote.
Does this sound like you? In my last blog I wrote about the fact that I was busy doing nothing and not that the tv is at fault, but it didn’t help. I started myself on a new schedule yesterday and I realized I have a lot of time to get ahead. Yes, I know my work schedule is determined by me alone but I still try to put in 20-30 hours a week. Most of that time is spent on the road driving to Bootycamp classes or my clients’ homes, nonetheless, time is not an excuse for my laziness! Now that I have a schedule (that changes day-to-day) I have much more productive with my time. Having time to workout, take continuing educational classes, make meals and even relax to read or get a massage. It is amazing to know that I can look at my week, and know what I got accomplished as well as what still needs to be done.
Now that I found this new time, it’s a great feeling knowing that I have it, question is, will I stick to it? My goal is YES!!
If you are looking to manage your time better, or as my CG’s would say, “Get your life together.” Let me know, I am more than happy to schedule a time to help guide you in planning your meal times, workouts and even your “me” time!
